Packaging Design Case Study – The Bishop’s Finger
I recently created a craft beer packaging concept called The Bishop’s Finger, developing the full brand identity and illustration system from the ground up.
The idea was inspired by something personal — Friday nights growing up. My dad and uncles would share a few beers while turning their garages into their own “home-style pubs.” Big personalities, strong stories, and a proper sense of character.
That feeling of heritage and camaraderie became the foundation of this brand.
For this project, I developed:
• A complete branding system
• Logo and typographic direction
• Custom illustrated hero mark
• A scalable packaging range across cans, bottles and merch
Each variant has its own personality while maintaining a bold, consistent shelf presence.
Great packaging doesn’t just attract attention — it communicates story, positioning, and personality in seconds.
